I've been working in leadership positions for the past decade. This experience has given me the privilege of working in research labs, volunteering with medical professionals, and tutoring college and high school students in science-related subjects. As someone who loves learning new things, I'm always thrilled to share my experiences and knowledge with anyone who's keen to learn. Aside from it being my passion in life, I also love tutoring science because I enjoy coming up with creative ways to explain difficult topics. There's no greater feeling than watching as one of your students has an epiphany and finally overcomes their classroom challenges. I especially like working with students in a one-on-one setting. It gives me the time to really focus on their weaknesses so that I can help them become more balanced students. That way, they're not just memorizing test material, but also learning concepts they can carry with them and use throughout their lives. There's no such thing as a bad student - just one who hasn't been properly engaged. I think that the best way to teach is to adopt a student-centered approach that looks at every pupil's individual needs, rather than teaching the one-size-fits-all model that you see in a traditional classroom.
